The scope of any Franchise Right will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
FICT ZERO acts as the primary pre-qualification requirement, but the actual rights, limits, territory, duration, commercial terms, and operating conditions will be defined through additional review and legal agreements.
Each application may be assessed across the following areas:
- Brand Alignment
The proposed business must align with the Confiction brand identity, creative direction, audience expectations, and the specific universe or IP being used.
This includes tone, visual presentation, customer experience, storytelling, marketing, merchandise, and any use of official names, logos, characters, settings, lore, or other protected materials. - Quality Control
Approved franchisees must be able to maintain a level of quality that reflects positively on Confiction Labs and its IP.
Depending on the nature of the business, this may include review of product samples, venue design, customer experience plans, staff training, marketing materials, operational standards, or periodic audits. Confiction Labs reserves the right to pause, revise, or terminate cooperation if quality standards are not maintained. - Geographic Restrictions
Franchise Rights may be limited by territory, country, city, region, or operating channel.
Geographic scope will depend on the proposed business, existing partnerships, local regulations, brand strategy, and the ability of the applicant to operate effectively in the requested location. - Size and Scope of Operations
Smaller and medium-scale ventures may be more suitable for early Franchise Rights.
Examples may include themed cafes, retail experiences, merchandise stores, pop-up experiences, escape rooms, small attractions, local events, or limited product collaborations.
Larger ventures such as amusement parks, hotel chains, major location-based entertainment facilities, or large-scale licensing programs may require stricter review, additional safeguards, or may be restricted due to complexity, cost, operational risk, and brand exposure. - Legal and Ethical Standards
Applicants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licensing requirements, consumer protection rules, employment standards, and tax obligations in their operating territory.
Franchisees are also expected to uphold ethical business practices and avoid activities that could harm Confiction Labs, its communities, partners, audiences, or intellectual properties. - Duration and Renewal
Franchise Rights may be granted for fixed terms according to a partnership agreement.
At the application stage, applicants may be able to propose or discuss terms such as 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 years, subject to review and approval. Renewal is not automatic and may depend on performance, compliance, brand fit, business results, and future Confiction Labs strategy. - Exclusivity and Non-Compete Protection
Unless specifically agreed in writing, Franchise Rights are non-exclusive.
However, limited non-compete protection, territorial protection, or category protection may be discussed for approved partners, especially during the early launch period of a franchise business. Any such protection must be clearly defined in the final agreement. - Innovation and Independence
Confiction Labs welcomes partners who can bring strong ideas, local insight, and entrepreneurial energy into the ecosystem.
That said, creative independence has boundaries. Any new concepts, products, stories, venue designs, campaigns, or customer-facing experiences that use Confiction IP may require review and approval to ensure they remain consistent with the brand and do not create conflicts with official canon, future releases, or other partnerships.
